Hunterdon Medical Center Welcomes New Endocrinologist

Hunterdon Medical Center is pleased to announce that Sumon Agarwala,
MD, FACE, Endocrinologist, has joined the medical staff.  Dr. Agarwala
will join the practice of Diabetes and Endocrine Associates of Hunterdon
with Marc Sandberg, MD, FACP, CDE, Felice Caldarella, MD, FACE, CDE,
FACP and Javier I. Torréns, MD, FACP.  

Dr. Agarwala received his medical degree from the University of
Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey and completed his residency in
Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in
Philadelphia, PA. Subsequently, he pursued his subspecialty training in
Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Robert Wood Johnson University
Hospital in New Brunswick. NJ. For the past eight years, Dr. Agarwala
was on staff at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA where he
practiced general endocrinology with a focus on management of Type 2
Diabetes, clinical and radiological evaluation of thyroid nodules, and
management of thyroid cancer. Dr. Agarwala was also an Associate
Clinical Professor of Medicine at Pennsylvania State University College
of Medicine and has a strong interest in teaching his patients and
developing long-term relationships. He is board certified in Internal
Medicine and Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism. 

The Diabetes and Endocrine Associates of Hunterdon has three locations,
Wescott Medical Arts Center, 9100 Wescott Drive, Suite 101, Flemington;
Hunterdon Healthcare Specialty Practices Office, 75 Frontage Rd, Asbury
and Hunterdon Healthcare Specialty Practices Office, 903 Highway 202
North, Suite 2A, Raritan.  Dr. Agarwala will be seeing patients in the
