Eliminating "The Gray Zone" with Shiatsu and QI Gong Training

Let’s use our imagination for a while. It is a bright, sunny day and you are picnicking on the banks of the Delaware River.  The water is high, running quickly yet evenly, shining in the rays of the sun.  Feelings of joy and freedom flow.  A positive spirit is dominant in us.  Our inner energy flows unhindered.   I do not know about you, but I wish to have all my days like that.

Yet, the flow is changing.  Another day the level of the river is low.  The flow is obstructed, distorted, water is struggling with now visible boulders, logs, and human produced litter.  Nothing positive is in the water or the air.  Days like that happen to us too.  I call them, for myself, “Gray Zone Days.”

We all have our hidden bottom; frustration, fears, depression, all things that surface when our, Life Energy, “Qi,” is low.  Our bodies react with headaches, migraines, frustration, difficulty sleeping, unspecific aches and pain.  The pressures of life are constantly lowering our, “QI,” level.  “Gray Zone Days,” are consuming our joy and happiness.

The question now to ask is; how can I keep my Life Energy high, how do I avoid the Gray Zone?  Well, there are many methods available.  Eastern philosophies of health and healing have recognized importance of energetic levels of life thousands of years ago.  Over the ages they have developed a countless number of practical ways to maintain our Life Energy.

In the beginning we compared our energy flow to the flow of water.  In nature water flows in the shape of rivers, streams and creeks, supplying whole life on the planet. In the same way our Life energy flows in our bodies .  The organs of the body could be seen as plants in a garden.  As the plants need water, organs need energy to grow and blossom.

Our internal water, (Life energy QI,) flows along invisible channels called meridians.  Every organ has its own energy supplying meridian.  If they are in good shape our body is happy and healthy, if not we feel some Gray Zone Effects. Let’s use an example; among other organs the, “Decision Maker,” is the Gall Bladder. Think of a headache located either in the back of the head or at the sides (temples).  It happens often after extended time by a computer, especially when that requires making many quick and important decisions.

When that happens, reach to you feet and touch the area between the fourth and fifth toes.  On the top of the feet, starting from toes, you will find a point which is tender, almost painful.  Press and rub it gently for few minutes until your headache diminishes.  That will be a sign of restored energy flow in a Meridian of a Gallbladder.

There are 12 basic meridians in the body and around 365 officially recognized points that can stimulate energy flow.  Learning some of them and using them when needed is one of the ways to keep ourselves away from The Gray Zone.

In the system that I’m presenting there is another very important understanding.  It joins together the physical and emotional functioning of our organs.  For example, the Liver is a home for anger and it is connected to the eyes. That is why sunglasses feel so needed when a hangover is still active.  Did you notice the morning after a party you feel so irritable and shout so easily?  Your Liver is still busy eliminating alcohol from the bloodstream and does not have enough energy to cover its other functions such a storing anger and controlling the shouting tone in you voice

This knowledge is huge, evaluated and proven through the ages, yet it is still new to many of us.  We are not trained to understand and support out bodies in that way.  The Shiatsu and QI Gong Training Center is dedicated to search these methods and adopt them into our 21st. century,” rush, rush, rush,” lives.  A variety of them are being offered already in our program, and we continuously work to bring more to you.

These are simply steps; receiving energy activating sessions (Shiatsu), learning and practicing energy exercise (QI Gong) and participating with meditation (to keep the mind clear of everyday accumulating clutter).  Easy to learn and ready to use when needed. Gray Zone Days could/should be kept under control in this natural way

Having attained a high energy level creates another benefit.  It flushes away possible energy stagnancies.  Allowed to remind in the body these stagnancies will sooner or later affect negatively our health; resulting in illness which requires medical intervention.

So we have a powerful tool to protect our well being and healthy futures.  It holds especially true that our young generation faces early in life; all the difficulties that we grownup people have to deal with.  After all they are our future.

For those who are interested in Shiatsu and Qi Gong, Training Center philosophy and the practice of health and healing; we offer personal presentation meetings.  This is a time when we will guide you through our programs, answer questions, and demonstrate our methods and techniques.

It is free service.  Just make a call and we will meet you.
